Situated in the southern region of Mahé, the largest island in Seychelles, Anse Intendance is a renowned wild beach. Adorned with pristine white sands, this beach is nestled between magnificent granite formations, making it one of the most picturesque spots both on the island and globally. Easily accessible via car or bus, it's a breeze to reach this beach. The bus stop is conveniently located mere minutes from the sandy shores, and ample parking is also available nearby. For those looking for refreshments, a quaint beach bar serves snacks and cool beverages. This striking beach is defined by its white sands, lush mountain backdrop, turquoise waters, and prominent granite structures. However, swimmers should exercise caution. The lack of an offshore coral reef exposes the bay to the open sea, causing the waters to deepen swiftly. During the southeast trade wind season (May to September), the beach experiences large waves, making swimming perilous for many. Yet, surf enthusiasts can often be seen riding these waves. Aside from its surfing potential, the beach is an ideal spot for sunbathing. Palm trees dot the shoreline, offering shaded spots, but be wary of falling coconuts. As a premier beach destination in Seychelles, Anse Intendance is comparable to the world's best beaches. Even if swimming is off the cards, it's a picturesque site for romantic picnics and watching sunsets over the ocean.

A majestic wild beach in Mahé's south, celebrated as one of the island's finest. The absence of a protective coral reef causes waters to deepen swiftly, and swimming from May to September can be risky. Easily reachable by both bus and car, with parking spots nearby. While palm trees provide shade, caution is advised against falling coconuts.
